Lets talk about SEX baby’ - An open discussion on sex, sexual health, sexuality and relationships


 
Marlon is the Manager of Agency Based Training Support (OACAS) in Education Services. Marlon‘s has served as Director of Education and Community Development at Learning Matters Consulting Group, an organization that works with non-profit and private sector organizations and has also been the Manager of Youth Services St. Stephen’s Community House, Youth Arcade for the past seven years. His work has been in the field of Social Work for the last twenty years.

Marlon is a well-recognized facilitator and city builder with a clear focus on poverty reduction based on the board social determinants of health. He has worked with youth from diverse backgrounds including the Children’s Aid Societies, street involved/homeless youth, youth in the justice system and other high-risk population groups. Marlon has also worked with various community Boards, the United Way Allocations Committee and has volunteered with individuals and com­munity organizations. He has earned a B.S.W. from Ryerson University, a Community Worker Diploma from George Brown College and completed the Emerging Leaders Program with Schulich School of Business, United Way of Greater Toronto and the Metcalf Foundation.


During his tenure at St. Stephen’s House, Marlon assisted in the compilation of two books; ‘The little black book for boys’ and ‘The little black book for girls’; books by youth, for youth on sex, sexuality and relationships.
